See the Silent Witness range, 'The world's toughest cameras'.
These Cameras can move at over 400 degrees per second and offer 360 degrees continuous rotation. They are also supplied with Auto Focus and presets that will, when used in conjunction with external alarm inputs, provide automatic zoom and focus to predetermined areas or incidents.
Each Camera has up to 128 presets enabling automatic tours of up to 128 positions to be programmed.
The latest Microsphere to become available is a combined Colour/Monochrome unit.
This unique product can be switched from High Resolution colour to Low Light Monochrome enabling users to have the best of both; Colour during the day and Low Light Monochrome at night. This is switched manually to enable those viewing the Camera to utilise colour wherever possible.
We believe the low-light monochrome facility will rarely be used as this Camera gives the best low light colour pictures we have ever seen. The unit has a special light seeking facility which enables it to construct a picture by repeatedly seeking the scene for what light is available.

With an 18:1 zoom lens and an additional 2x digital zoom the Camera can give facial and number plate recognition at up to 100m.
The controller / handset has a joystick with variable speed control and a user friendly zoom facility. Using the above features it would be possible to program the Camera to automatically tour an area. Should you wish to use it in a car park; first it may give an overview of the car park, then move up and down the rows of cars (the speed between presets is also programmable). Any combination of positions and moves is possible. Should it be viewing a building as well as a car park, doors can be alarmed (door contacts, PIR's, etc) so that the Camera will view the selected area immediately there is an alarm activation. One Microsphere can often replace a number of static Cameras for external surveillance. At any time the operator can take control of the system to zoom into an area which needs closer inspection.
The Controller is capable of controlling 8 or 16 Cameras.
| Environmental Housings |
All external cameras are sited within environmental housings for protection against adverse weather. The housing contains heating elements to prevent misting-up in the winter, guaranteeing a good quality picture throughout the year.
